SEVENDUST Lighting Up Radio Charts
August 14, 2003SEVENDUST's new single, "Enemy", has generated over 30 major radio adds in its first 36 hours of availability and two full weeks ahead of its official add date, according to an official press release. "Enemy" comes off the group's fourth album, "Seasons", due on October 7 through TVT Records. The 12-track disc was produced by Butch Walker (MARVELOUS 3, INJECTED) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (EVANESCENCE, PAPA ROACH).
In describing the personal themes on "Seasons", drummer Morgan Rose remarks: "This is a recovery record. You get plenty of songs that are true and straight to the heart, and there are songs on there that are point-blank inspired by people and events. But then a bulk of the record is dedicated to the realization that we've done some bad things to ourselves and people around us over the long haul."
SEVENDUST will kick off an early, month-long headlining tour on August 14 in New Orleans to debut the new material for fans. The band then headline four shows in the Budweiser"One Night Stand" concert series starting September 15 in Cincinnati, and on September 27 will hit the road with STAIND on their national tour.
"Seasons" follows SEVENDUST's RIAA-certified gold releases "Sevendust" (1997),"Home" (1999) and "Animosity" (2001).
